The Untold Stories of City Kids

(school-age play with a few songs)
(c) 2020

During the COVID-19 pandemic, teachers and students were forced to adapt to online learning. Over the course of a year, educators witnessed firsthand the harsh realities many of their students faced at home—stress, neglect, and even abuse. By the following spring, the performing arts program struggled to enroll participants in its summer camp, while more affluent areas saw full registrations. City programs, however, faced dwindling participation and a lack of funding. Determined to keep the arts alive, a group of passionate teachers broke away to create City Kids—a safe space where children’s voices could be heard and nurtured. Through music, dance, and storytelling, young performers found hope, built a sense of community, and discovered the courage to dream.

We will be holding auditions for The Untold Stories of City Kids, set to premiere at a festival in Saint Louis in the summer of 2025!

This is a play with songs. Note: Not all characters sing.
The Ghosts of Viva Avalon
(NEW musical) (c) 2025

With the historic Viva Avalon Theater set for demolition in 30 days, director Emma and her cast must stage one last show to save it. When house manager Maggie seeks guidance, spirits of past Broadway legends emerge, eager for one final curtain call. As ghosts and modern performers collide in chaos and comedy, their shared love of theater unites them. But will their grand performance be enough to stop the wrecking ball, or is this truly the final act?

We will be holding auditions for The Ghosts of Viva Avalon workshop, which will include a preview of a few songs and scenes for investors.
